Tooling Engineers for Production-Critical Tooling
Titan supports manufacturers with tooling engineers who design, improve, troubleshoot, launch, and sustain the molds, dies, fixtures, workholding, and production tooling behind repeatable manufacturing.
Engineering Talent That Understands the Tooling on the Floor
Tooling problems live between design and production. Titan scopes the tool, process, materials, equipment, failure mode, and launch requirements before recruiting so the engineer profile matches the actual manufacturing responsibility.
Capability & Fit Factors
Temporary and Project-Based Tooling Support
Manufacturers may need tooling engineers during launches, transfers, new product introduction, chronic tooling failures, mold or die improvement projects, capacity expansions, or extended engineering vacancies.
Titan can recruit for temporary, traveling, project-based, or extended assignments. Clients retain final approval and may interview or technically evaluate candidates before deployment.
What to Define Before Recruiting a Tooling Engineer
Define the tooling system and the production problem before screening candidates. Useful details include mold, die, fixture, or workholding type; product and material; press or machine interface; recurring failure mode; dimensional or cycle-time target; launch status; CAD or CAM requirements; and whether the engineer is expected to design, troubleshoot, try out, or improve existing tooling.
Tooling engineering often overlaps with toolroom execution. If the assignment requires hands-on fitting, repair, machining, or mold maintenance in addition to engineering ownership, Titan can also screen toolmakers and moldmakers against the same production need.
