Nationwide CNC & manufacturing staffing
Experienced CNC Operator Staffing
Experienced CNC operators support established production processes, machine tending, part inspection, and shift coverage based on verified experience and client requirements.
What we match
Specify machine types, controls, production experience, inspection duties, offsets, and shift requirements. Independent setups and programming are separate qualifications and are never assumed.
Tell us your worksite, machine types, number of employees, shift schedule, required experience and desired start date. Candidate availability and coverage are assessed for each request.
Operator experience that matches the actual work
An experienced CNC operator is not necessarily an independent setup machinist. On an established production process, the assignment may focus on safely loading and unloading parts, verifying part orientation, monitoring tool wear, performing documented in-process checks, and recording production results. The exact duties depend on the machine, material, tolerances, and the manufacturer's procedures.
Before recruiting, Titan clarifies whether the operator must read basic prints, use calipers or micrometers, interpret go/no-go gauges, adjust approved wear offsets, change inserts, or escalate out-of-tolerance results. A candidate who has run a Haas mill may not have the same experience as someone operating a Swiss lathe, so we ask about actual machine and control exposure rather than treating all CNC experience as interchangeable.
Shift coverage and supervision
Manufacturers can request coverage for first, second, third, or weekend shifts. We review the schedule, expected hours, worksite, assignment length, and how the facility will handle orientation, machine-specific training, and supervision. For an operator-only assignment, the client should identify who owns setups, program revisions, process changes, and first-article approvals.
For larger requests, provide the number of operators needed per shift and whether start dates can be staggered. That helps us assess recruiting feasibility without promising an unverified number of available workers. Local and traveling options are evaluated based on the assignment and location.
What to include in your staffing request
Tell us the machine types and controls, material, inspection tools, shift schedule, minimum operating experience, worksite location, target start date, and expected contract length. We can then discuss the appropriate operator profile and screening approach. If the role also requires independent setups or programming, request a CNC setup machinist or programmer instead.
Questions manufacturers ask
What CNC operating experience is required?
We scope each assignment with the client before screening workers for the specified responsibilities.
How will the client provide machine safety orientation and training?
Share your facility requirements and timeline using the manufacturer inquiry form so Titan can evaluate staffing options.
